What's the caper with Gladfields? I notice many of you are order bulk of it.
Is it that much better than Wey/TF/Simpsons, etc. Or just different?
I'm asking partly because I believe it costs more, so I'm assuming you believe it's better.

Manuka is the wood used to smoke the malt, Breakbeer.

It's the honey produced from pollination of these trees which has become synonymous with it.

Thanks for nominating the split. It sounds like a great flavour.

I found this. Sounds like Invercargill Brewery were involved in the decision to commercially produce this malt (a few paragraphs into the 'back story' section)
