  • Hey Martin,

Just saw the stuff regaring Clever Brewing and was wanting to know where you guys will be shipping from in future?

In other words if I order liquid yeast from CB is it likely to sit in transit for 3 days if it's from somewhere else.

    Cheers
BIL finally fulfilled his quest to drink himself to death. Veteran of the Rhodesia/Zimbabwe independence war. None of them are good, however small.
28C+ & collecting firewood. Am I nuts, or just in need of a shandy?

39C and I'm cleaning out a slightly mouldy fv fridge. At least I'm not on a shovel.
Is POR dead? Is it up to us Homebrewers/growers to keep it alive?

Just because it is used in mass produced beer dosnt make it a bad hop. I have used it in a few pale ales that worked great.

Cheers, Mardoo! I really liked that beer too!! Got one in the fridge for tonight ;-)
I thought PoR was a great hop - very distinct solid bitterness, nice spicy fruitiness. And Yob definitely needs have a go at his homie PoR! Would def love to have some growing here, but have no space :(

Bad wrap because of mega swill. But I pushed my bro to put it in his CSA clone for authenticity sake and I really like it. Considering making a lawnmower beer with it. If I can find it.

Can vouch for superpride being a good, clean but pretty much flavourless bitterer.
Two cars written-off in 3 weeks. Should I buy a Tatt's ticket or have I had enough pain already?

Jeebus, dude! That sounds terrible. You guys must've had the crap knocked out of you. Hope you're recovering asap!

Lots & LOTSA Codeine, cheap scotch & as much sleep as I can get. If you guys want to bring me "recovery gifts" of beer, it'd be very welcome:))) Thanks for the well-wishes, guys!
I love my log splitter! 5 Cubic metres done & dusted in about 3 hours. Should last a couple of weeks....

Nope. He wouldn't love that kind of log splitter. Must be a machine.

30 Tons of Hydraulic muscle. No way I could've done that by hand without a lot of Wheat beer. All tucked-away in weatherproof bays today. Now for the next 70 tons that's laying about the place....Then there's the Party to burn the stuff I couldn't be arsed with...(After fire restrictions are lifted!).
VICBREW rules-out Stubbies & Champagne bottles for entries. Please take note!!
Everything that lives must die, passing from nothingness to eternity. SWMBO's favourite 14yo Bull-Mastiff checked-out earlier tonight. I'll miss her.

Gonna miss my daughter's bitch when she goes. Mastiff/pitbull/kelpie. staffie cross, and the nicest dog you could meet. Id'raise a glass for you, if I had anything available. Hope a shot of scotch will do. Respect.

    Sorry to hear, mate.

Our little girl has just been through surgery and that was hard...

    My thoughts are with you!

Aaargh! Spider Wasp infestation in the brewery. The bastards have even clogged-up my March pump! Gotta rip everything apart to get rid of the dead spiders! Pissed-off!

On the cards is to rip everything apart & clean it out. Balloons for the obvious apertures & got some canvas that SWMBO has agreed to sew together into a cover for the entire rig in time for my Birthday (will also keep the dust out). Double-Yay!

SWMBO doesn't normally drink. She's currently warbling-along to MTV, slapping the bed, talking to the cat & offering insightful comments on the 80's!!? Glad I'm front of the computer....

Decided to break-down the new brew rig for transport (we need the milk crates etc.). No more brewing for me until the sparky & plumber are done. Still have to bottle the case-swap porter before the fridge goes up the hill. Lucky I've got a few cubes to play with..

Next swap at the new digs?
    MartinOC

A distinct possibility there, Yob. Still only a shed at this stage, so SWMBO may not appreciate a drunken rabble descending on her.

STOKED!! We just bought a 3.5 acre property with a 12x9 shed. FINALLY I get to spread-out & have a proper brewery!!! Looks like I'll be hosting a Melbourne Case Swap within 12 months :))
