To Boil Or Steep Grains?

Are you planing on boiling any crushed crystal grains.
Also, how long are you going to boil them.

I brew a grumpys Theakstons Old Peculiar kit taht stipulates the grains are boiled fro 20min...

As for tannin extraction, my guess is that you will not notice the tannins extracted from such a small quantity (250-1000g) of specialty grains in a 23 litre batch

...like I said. Especially for a quick boil.

I boiled the grains in my Grumpys Kilkenny copy for 20 mins and it was great - it got a silver medal in the Qld comp.
