Just wondered whether anyone had made limoncello (or similar) and used dextrose for the simple syrup part of it?

I've got a few bags of dextrose that could do with being used so thought it might be possible to use that instead of normal sugar, just to use it up more than anything else!

Cheers!

Don’t!
Sugar (sucrose) brings a lot of body viscosity and mouth-feel along with sweetness, in part this is the reason it’s so popular in confectionary and baking.
Use the Dex to bump up the alcohol of a brew or whatever, it'll keep pretty much forever.

Thanks Mark! Will stick to normal sugar for this one.

Cheers 👍🏻
