I have an 8 litre keg and would like to make up a keg of scotch and coke. Could I just pour in a litre or more of scotch and then add around 6 to 7 litres of coke straight from the bottle then add co2 to keep carbed , and at what pressure would be suggested to keep carbed and what to pour at. Many thanks to responders.

I've had a go a few times at a 'dark & stormy' until the novelty wore off and I decided it was just easier to buy a nip pourer.
One takeaway was keep everything super chilled during the process. Keeping your 'mixer' on the cusp of freezing seems to limit C02 loss during transfer.

Also, hardened beer drinkers suddenly decide they wouldn't mind a scotch and coke.
Amazing..

I’ve done this with bourbon and Coke and the big thing seemed to be getting it mixed properly, and pouring in the coke slowly otherwise there’s a bit of a wait with the foam.

Soft drink tends to be quite carbonated at about 3-4 volumes, but you’ll have to play around with it according to whatever you find works best.
