Thank you for a history about you. I do know why you think I care. Well I now at least know how to judge literacy and intelligence. If you know a lot about brewing you are intelligent...and then to cast aspersions about people in Geelong and Corio... enough said you dummy
Not to be pedantic, but if you're going to attempt to criticise someone on their literacy, you should be able to write a sentence beyond the 3rd grade. I actually had to read your post several times to comprehend the meaning of it. And I don't think its my illiterate dummy brain.
Punctuation, grammar and spelling all form part of the literacy package. So I find it oxymoronic to insult someone for being illiterate, while being unable to string more than four (4) words together in something other than that resembling the incoherent ramblings of a madman.
Also, you shouldn't care about my personal history nor lineage, but you insinuated that I was an uneducated dolt who knew nothing of the geopolitical climate or complex world history outside of Australia. I was simply illustrating that I have some semblance of an idea. I'm by no means an expert, but I do have a basic understanding.
And if brewing knowledge is the standard by which intelligence is measured then I wouldn't fair well unfortunately. While I do attempt to provide insight and my opinion on topics, I am by no means an expert and usually preface my replies by stating that the reply is my opinion.
I was simply using the juxtaposition of your previous comment that I was illiterate with the fact you were unable to comprehend the most basic of information regarding brewing. The hobby this forum is built on. I find it even more interesting that you replied to a member on here, stating you have a learning difficulty. Why would you then go calling someone else an illiterate dummy. That's like a person on the spectrum going around calling someone else a re... well yeah. .
I cast no aspersions on the people of Geelong, nor Corio. My comments were aimed at you, and I used the geographical location to illustrate it is quite ironic to be calling an immigrant uneducated in world history, while you yourself are more than likely a multi generation Australian.
And further to that, I don't think that someone who has been living in Geelong under the lightest of the restrictions should really be having a whinge about how hard its been, when those of us in metropolitan Melbourne have been under far stricter rules. It's like a lotto winner saying its not fair that they can no longer collect the dole.
