Pregnant Pauses Porter

Porter - Brown Porter

Brewer's Notes

OG was 1043, FG 1010 for an ABV of 4.3%.
Great colour with only a hint of roastiness, very much a nice sweetish dark beer.
With only one brown porter recipe in here I thought I'd add this one in...

Malt & Fermentables

0.2 kg Weyermann Caraaroma
0.125 kg Weyermann Carafa Special II
0.05 kg TF Black Malt

25 g Goldings, East Kent (Pellet, 5.0AA%, 15mins)
15 g Green Bullet (Pellet, 13.5AA%, 45mins)

Yeast

11.5 ml Danstar - Nottingham
21L Batch Size

BConnery's extract recipes are the go! Ive only made a few (not this one yet) and they are great. give them a try if your doing extract (or use as a baseline for modifying your K&K).

Try Ben's Chistmoose Ale. I personally love it.

I'm AG these days...

Having said that, I do have an extract porter recipe that worked out quite nicely if you want one...
 
ahh I thought it was your extract pregnant pause porter. I must admit I didnt look at the recipe (ooops on my behalf).

and im only a few months away from going AG. mashtun, HLT being built, march pump on order, and brew stand in plannning stage
