The great Dickey Betts, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, passed away two weeks ago at age 80.

A brilliant songwriter and guitarist, he helped create the Southern Rock sound that influenced a broad spectrum of other musicians and genres.

In tribute, Billy Strings closed out a recent concert by playing Dickey Betts’ composition Ramblin’ Man with a typically awesome lead break.

And when it's time for leavin'
I hope you'll understand
That I was born a ramblin' man.

Massive fan of Lanegan, seen him a few times with Queens and solo at The Espy a few years back.

This is a remix of one of his later tunes, not sure if it's the same Mikey Young who is/was in Eddy Current Supression Ring?

My god, that brings back memories of a jury duty I decided not to avoid because work was quiet at the time and thought 'why not'.

Well, it was an interesting day today, watched every bit of today's proceedings. If ever there was an instance to quote Sir Walter Scott's aphorism. 'Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive' Especially on sworn statements!
