Adelaide Grain Bulk Buy

Hi all,

I could use a few bags myself, anyone interested in going in on a bulk buy?

Here's the prices etc, need min of 20 bags; http://www.craftbrewer.com.au/shop/details.asp?PID=869

I'm at Croydon Pk near Regency TAFE so if I organize it pick up will be from here I guess.

Dunno what the freight from Vic would be but we can divide that up by the number of bags.

Phillip, I have emailed Ross to check that the prices are up to date.
I expect they are current. Should be $66 + freight for TF Maris Otter. Now I know there's enough interest
I'll enquire about freight prices tomorrow. Theres a limit of 36bags to the pallet so if we get to 36
that should keep the freight to a minimum.

Haven't got a freight price yet but Ross says all prices are current, no Carabohemian in stock.
I 'll have to get a freight cost Monday.

Anyone interested in going halves in some crystal or other specialty malts? Was thinking pale crystal (BB or Bairds), dark crystal (BB or Bairds), dingmans aromatic. Don't think I could get through a whole bag of these.

Maybe a bit cheaper but if I order 1 pallet I can pick it up from the depot here in Adelaide with my f350
which'll save them sending a truck/ forklift from the yard so I should save a few bucks there. The old f350 would handle 2*900kg pallets no probs but I don't fancy lugging 72 bags off the tray over to my back verandah. I haven't organized a bulk buy b4 either so it remains to be seen how much time/ work it'll be collecting $ sending emails etc . So I think I better pull the pin at 36 bags this time around.
Still room for 12 more :icon_cheers:

I'm at Croydon Pk, that's where you will need to pick up grain. If you mean where is the depot, Total Care Trans who Ross usually uses are at Cavan but I'll get a coupla quotes and might go with someone else yet.

well...the pick up point was what I was after...I live in the city so that is close enough for me...

wonder if I can fit 2 sacks of grain on my scooter.
