G'day folks,

I am after a fridge that I can fit fermenter or two in to, but it needs to be a fridge in aesthetically pleasing condition....so not rusty etc etc as it will need to live in the kitchen or something like that...damn lack of no shed!!! And I dont want to piss the SWMBO off.

Anyway if anyone has anything that might work please let me know. I'm located in Hillcrest. I really dont want to spend any more than $100 or if anyone has one they dont use but dont wish to sell I'm more than willing to "rent/borrow" it as I won't need it when I move at the end of the year.

Cheers, Pok

Hey Pok,

Not got a fridge to offer but if your search doesn't prevail and you can only find something in a non "aesthetically pleasing condition" then you can always get yourself some galvanising spray paint, some thin sheet plywood and a cheap tin of varnish. All you need to do is spray the rusted areas to prevent any further corrosion and then with the plywood cut it to size (of the exterior walls and door) and stick it on with some mastic/silicone and varnish. Plan to do the same with my fridge when I get a chance and have done it to a cheepo locker and it makes it look pretty good on the outside.

Very true...but the less work to do the better.

Well BackYardBrewer came to my aid in return for some beer.

The new fermenting fridge in its new home....well given the GF doesnt go ape.

Now just to put a temp controller on it and get ferementing.

Thanks again BYB.
