Hi Guys,

Just reading the thread re books has prompted me to offer a word on US postal times.
I bought 2 brew books off ebay and was happy to keep the postage cost down and compromise the delivery time.

Be warned, US Postal Service states that sea freight should take 4-6 weeks to Oz. In reality it took 15 weeks for the books to arrive :angry:

Amazon is better with delivery times but it costs more to post!

Amazon used to use sea freight some time back, but stopped. If you are not in a hurry sea was the best option.

US parcel post quote 4-6 weeks, it usually takes 8-10 weeks and Australia Post won't start following through on parcels untill 12 weeks.

If you have followed the thread about goods recieved from Brewers Discount, who also ship via US parcel post, it is generally 8-10 weeks via sea.
