BIAB with a 2200W SS element in a 70L insulated pot plus a made in china death wish over the side element.
32L up to mash temp plus grain crushing - 30mins
Mash - 60mins
Hoist bag, elements on - 5mins
Heating up - 30mins
Boil - 60mins
Whirlpool and drain to cube - 10mins
Under 3.5 hours.
I could mash for 30-40min and add a bit more grain ... but we're talking a few % efficency.
It's quick and low effort.... which given how cold it can be in the shed on winter nights is a good thing!!
