My MKIII regulators just arrived - thanks! I was wanting to panel mount them (will be buying the add on adaptor to join regulators when they are back in stock). Was hoping that there might be an obvious way of affixing them to a panel but nothing jumps out. Just wondering if KegLand (or anyone) had some creative ideas or even pics of how this may have been done?

Your site states the 5x8mm beer/gas line will be back in stock 18/6/2018
How definite is this as I have 16 items in my basket and not keen on double shipping

The Fermentasaurus trademark is owned by Kee Doery which you can see from the IP Australia website here:
https://search.ipaustralia.gov.au/trademarks/search/view/1797038?q=fermentasaurus

The only new designs of the Fermentasaurus that we are aware of are being worked on by KegLand Distribution PTY LTD and Oxebar PTY LTD. Both of these companies have the sole rights to use this trademark. Anyone who is seen to infringe this trademark will be prosecuted.

KegLand Distribution will be releasing the Fermentasaurus 2 model at the end of this year in a 27L and 50L size. More information regarding these will be released at the start of July.

Looks like MCH Keg King have lodged their own trademarks on the fermentasaurus....but not finalised....also applied for kegasaurus, intertap, ultratap and the robobrew

On your website you have some stock that shows as being available when you see it in the category of search results, but then when you go to the detail page it shows it off stock? Eg the type 30 stem for the mk3 reg.

Is there a single starter kit item that combines the below things for someone who has no kegging stuff to get going? I have the standard stuff for priming and filling bottles (fermenter, siphons, etc). I guess I could just make my own from the bellow, but I'm worried about getting things that are incompatible.

Basically everything they have in stock is at 'sale' prices all the time. (eg. A new keg is about $160 at a normal homebrew shop).

A full list for a 2 keg setup is:
1 x CO2 Bottle https://www.kegland.com.au/co2-gas-cylinders-2-6kg-full.html
1 x Gas regulator https://www.kegland.com.au/mk-ii-dual-gauge-multi-gas-regulator.html
1 x Tee piece splitter or a gas manifold https://www.kegland.com.au/stainless-steel-tee-6mm-barb.html or https://www.kegland.com.au/2-output-2-way-gas-line-manifold-splitter-with-check-valves.html
2 x Keg https://www.kegland.com.au/19l-ball-lock-keg-brand-new-553.html
2 x Gas keg quick disconnect (there are cheaper ones and more expensive but this is the standard one) https://www.kegland.com.au/premium-plastic-ball-lock-disconnect-grey-gas-barb.html
2 x Liquid keg quick disconnect (there are cheaper ones and more expensive but this is the standard one) https://www.kegland.com.au/premium-plastic-ball-lock-disconnect-black-liquid-barb.html
2 x Picnic taps https://www.kegland.com.au/bronco-picnic-party-tap.html
10 x Clamps (4 for disconnects, 2 for party taps, 1 for regulator, 3 for tee/manifold) (Kegland only have a 20 pack) https://www.kegland.com.au/x20-ss-line-clamp-suits-7-10mm-od-line.html

4/5mm ID beer line (suits both gas and liquid - probably don't need 12m) https://www.kegland.com.au/evabarrier-4mm-x-8mm-double-wall-eva-12meter-roll-in-bag.html

And amazingly everything above is in stock currently.

Hey Greg58. Good to get this question. The 4mm ID beer line is the way to go in my opinion. So firstly we would have to say this is the right choice but pleae be prepared to struggle a little getting this onto the tight barbs of your ball lock disconnects and tap shanks. If you are struggling the 4mm ID over the tight 6.5mm OD Barbs that are on the disconnects i would suggest you watch this video:

With regarsd to line lengths with the 4mm ID you really want about 1.5meters. It will depend a little on how warm/cold you like your beer and how fast you want to pur.

Most commercial venues want to fill pints fast as time is money so in a commercial bar you should aim for about 400ml per 10 seconds. If you are a domestic user perhaps you dont need such a fast flow speed and about 250-350ml per 10 seconds might be better for you.

The Intertap taps should pour well with the standard 10mm ID spout with a flow rate between about 200-400ml/10 seconds and about 1.5 meters will work well for this.

Definitely it's better to take up the flow resistance in the beer line rather than the flow control taps. You will always get better laminar flow with the standard Intertap SS design.

Seen the new taps from Keg King - they really have a great pour. Better than anything I have seen before

We should let you know that Pending Accepted is what it will say on the IP Australia website while objections are being received. (which they are). MCH Australia are not the owners of these trademarks and most certainly they will face objections when trying to get these trademarks approved.

Sorry about that. Should have that fixed up tomorrow. If you get any other items like this just send us an email at [email protected]

It's funny that you mention that actually. We have been working on the MK4 regulator now and one of the features of the MK4 is that it's significantly easier to mount so you can make up your own gas boards easily.

It's one of the reasons that we now are stocking this high pressure extension hose:

https://www.kegland.com.au/type-30-high-pressure-extension-hose.html

It's kind of a nice solution to have the regulator mounted to your wall at eye level then to put the cylinder on the ground or in a bracket.

When the MK4 regulator is released in a couple months we will do a video on this product which will include instructions on how to mount the regulator as well.

The genuine Intertap Taps are the best taps on the market hands down. The Intertap taps have superior finish and and simply better made. Been extensively tested and are one of the most popular forward sealing tap types not only in Australia but all around the world.

We did get hold of a new taps manufactured from one of our competitors (i will not mention who but you can probably guess). Clearly we are biased so you can take what we have to say with a grain of salt but I have taken some photos which you can see below:

We can assure you that the genuine Intertap taps are significantly better and they can be purchased from www.kegland.com.au or a distributor which you can find on the website. The taps in the above photo are simply not made to the same standard.

Any hint of an ETA for your 100mm tap shanks? Getting sick of opening my fridge to pour a beer, but I'm not keen to pay $50 for a shank elsewhere...

We did get hold of one of the new Keg King taps and quite frankly not impressed at all. Clearly we are biased so you can take what we have to say with a grain of salt but I have taken some photos which you can see below:

I hope you don't mind me making some assumptions here but "Beir Hearder" we noticed that you have only come on the forum recently and you seem to just be pro-keg king. If I was going to guess I would say you have some type of affiliation with Keg King.

I purchased my Ultrataps Saturday here are photos of the genuine Ultratap.

Note not a trace of those nylon seats and check out the larger shuttle and seal ring.

Hey kee - what's stopping keg king from getting their own 'fermentasaurus' brought in under a different name?

You should get more protection than just trade marks on that ****. Definitely look into patent protection. Watermark IP do a lot of stuff with china.

Thanks for that. We have not used Watermark IP before. We are currently using https://www.claytonutz.com for most of our IP concerns at this stage. I guess in hindsight getting a patent on certain aspects of the design would have been a good idea. We do have one part of the Fermentasaurus 2 design that we have filed a patent for.

Hi KL

I am considering getting your three tap kegerator. I have a couple of questions:

1. Does it now come with your EVA barrier lines, if so how much total length and what ID? I am sold on the 4mm ID line and would want to get that
2. Are any ball lock disconnects included or are these to be purchased separately?
3. When are you anticipating opening the shop, or a customer pickup option? I would like to avoid paying shipping.

Thanks.

You can make assumptions and guesses but be happy to know I bought a Robobrew and even a CO2 cyl from you. Does not stop me buying stuff from KK though and lots of what they have is pretty good. Some is crap like plastic taps. Do you just want people who say bad things about your opposition here? Not a great business tactic. If your stuff is good no need to bag others. People will buy it for its value.

Nice one, good to see the innovation. I bought the high pressure hose alongside the MK3 regs, don't want to replace the regs in a couple of months seeing as they only just arrived. I should have asked the question before I bought them! I'll just have to dodgy up a mount using hose clamps and live with it.
