Improving Esb 3kg Beer Kits

Anyone have any sugestions on how to spice up the ESB 3kg kits ?

I'm a newbie and have made 8 ESB brews so far (mainly lager and wheat beer) , I experimented once wth liquid yeasts, and figure its high time to become a bit more adventurous and either steep some grans or try boiling the extract.

Was wondering if you felas have any suggestions for the next step (wheat beer prefered).

They already come with all this done, if your going to tamper use a 1.7kg kit, the reason why its 3kg is so that amaetures(like myself) can experience all the benefits of advanced brewing without the effort
