I believe the current list should stand as is, but when the 200k limit is reached, close the main list and start a 'standby' list who will have dibs on the hops ordered by those participants who have not transferred your money to your account by a firm and clearly understood cut off date. That way you are covered re money to send to the supplier and you don't have to run around chasing stragglers or coughing up your own money to cover them.

BTW this bulk buy will either be the most successfull BB or the biggest fiasco the board has ever seen!

Fair call, but I can't really imagine that any commercial brewers are going to order their hops though this bulk buy. What I can see, is a crap load of chinese hops going stale in a multitude of homebrewers freezers in the next two years.

BUT the good news we haven't hit any admin hurdles or cost hurdles yet. still looking arround $10.00 a kilo, depending on final arrangements

It looks like most orders are for 3 kg or less. The best method for posting is the 3kg express bag to anywhere in Aus for about $10 (maybe cheaper when bought in bulk). No savings to be made in setting up distribution centres IMHO.

Aldi Gympie has them too, only info on the label was Hopfen no variety or AA% but at least they're vac sealed and kept in the chilled section.
