Chinese Hops? What Next

$10 a kg plus import duties etc for most likely crap, or $13 a lb of known great quality hops...


Say you use 100g per brew
Chinese $2.00 (from memory final cost was approx double by the time they were landed last time)
US $3
I know what I'm sticking with.


PS. I threw out 6kg of Chinese hops from that first buy. I will never forget that oily slick looking into the brew kettle.
 
A point worth thinking about, If they are producing those type of hops, they are targeting the American market I would bet they are all ready shipping to U.S. So hypothetically it is possible that we may may already be using them.
