Hey Andrew,

I was surprised to find it in the package as well.
I believe it is a tap used on casks, hence the tapered thread to go through the bung.

Received the cask breather/aspirator today.

Top marks to Doc and Kook for all the work in organising it.

Just need to figure out how to hook it up to my beer engine

nope. Doc already covered that.

I wanted an engine and ended up with an option to buy 7 and I can get them brought out to Australia via my work for a lot less than the normal cost.

total cost will be somewhere around $aus170 +pp in Australia. I am still doing the deal so it isn't locked in yet and will most likely be less.

I think p&p will be about $15 to Sydney, $10 to melbourne, $22 to Brisbane. I go to Adelaide a bit so they can be picked up or dropped off.

I will only have 4, maybe 5 available.
