Sounds to me like a horibly high price to pay for sex, just have to hope it was very good sex! its going to keep costing you for the next 20+ years.
I'm sure you will be needing a beer or two before then.

It's amazing how many posts we see "haven't brewed for about 10 yrs" seems like it's a common thing to take a break when life gets in the way, and many come back to the hobby.
A bonus to selling up and returning yrs later is you get a fresh start, and with the rapid advances in the hobby the gear you'll end up with will be far superior to the stuff you sell now.
Good luck with the sale, and this new phase of your life. See you in about 10yrs
