I hope not, the only reason I want one of these flasks is because I never seem to have an empty coke bottle when i need it, and I don't fancy sculling 1.25 litres of coke.

Hey guys,

Still planning on going ahead with the buy, I actually emailed the completed order form earlier in the week and got a call yesterday advising that 'due to the current economic climate, our prices have risen slightly over the new year break' so I'm expecting a mutiny, but the rise is pretty minimal.

3 litre.......PM with postcode, around $14 on average. Postage is per item. Pickup is available from Gold Coast, QLD. As per all bulk buys, initial postage to my address will be split evenly, looks like it will add about $1.25 per item. Still works out much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

I think this list is the most current. Feel free to update as required. I should be able to cover the shortcomings [except the 2L.. that's over $200, c'mon guys](unless too many dropout) and hope I don't get stuck with them.

I'm still in, not too interested in flat or curved bottom, just need something sterilizable so I can make up the mother of all starters to get some of these these sluggish lazy mo'fo' liquid yeasts earning a living for the big dollars I pay for them I reckon Wyeast 1469 West Yorkshire Bitter is a shop steward in the yeast union and they are doing a go slow and 1768 isn't too far behind, Pommy BASTARDS :huh:

OK, sick of waiting around. Looks like it's not gonna reach targets so I just called to advise my supplier that I wasn't going ahead. They were curious so I explained I was way short on numbers for the 2000ml flasks. Manager hops on the phone and said he'll do me the same price for 15. Stoked

So, going ahead with the order. I'll work out what everyone needs to pay and post on here later tonight. Also thinking about adding some 30mm stir bars if anyone is interested

I haven't seen this thread until now, and not to rain on anyone's parade, but those prices seem expensive... I bought 2 x 3L Schott flasks from Australian Scientific at Kotara for under $40 each. Their 2L flasks were under $20 and that's just a walk in off the street

Exactly! So if you read the thread completely, it might make sense to you. Added on to the price is postage to my location, split evenly. The prices above are also inclusive of postage to the buyers location, so unless you have found a cheaper price with all that included... take a walk B)
