OK, I've found a new supplier and they stock 3L flasks. The 3L flasks however come in at around $40. Will update the first post to match prices. ... EDIT: Ok, I can't edit the first post? Oh well, will repost it.

OK, new prices from new supplier who has advised that the bases are flat. I am a little dubious though as they weren't sure what I meant by flat and told me all their Erlenmeyer flasks had flat bottoms.

A lot of people hate stir bars with pivot rings. They tend to make more noise that those without. Or so I hear.

I only use stir bars without pivot rings.
