Alternative to PBW

Seems PBW is no longer available in the UK so (as mentioned in another thread) I tried Chemclean which was advertised as a direct replacement to PBW. This turned out not to be the case because it foams and is therefore useless with CIP spray balls.
Caustic Soda has been suggested but that looks like nasty stuff. Is that what others use to clean stainless steel fermenters? If not, what else is an option?

Sodium percarbonate or sodium perborate.

Thanks. I've found Chempro Oxi which I think is mainly Sodium Percarbonate
