WLP037 Yorkshire Square Ale Yeast This is a White Labs Platinum release for Sept-Oct. Guessing it has the same source as 1469.

Co-incidentally I am waiting for a 1026 (Sep 08) pack to fire up after 16 hours. Eager to kick off an APA. Not too stressed yet as have had to wait this length of time in the past. I guess this is one of the advantages of no-chill and storing in a cube.

Another vote for Daves. Pick up from ESB will not work for me.

I pretty much only go with the 90min boil when using european Pils malt to get rid of the higher DMS. I have not found any problems with the 60min boil and anything that shortens the brew day cannot be all bad

Not as far as I can gather. Unibroque seems to use something outside of what Whitelabs and Wyeast offer, from what I have found on the net (not always the most reliable). I just happen to have both sitting in the fridge at the moment and I am also due for fresh belgian ale yeast. Thanks...

I have bottles of Murrays Blonde, Murrays Grand Cru and Unibroque La Fin Du Monde. :D I have done a search but cannot find whether the yeast in the bottles is the primary strain or what it might be. :unsure: Any help?? Thanks

I have tried a Pilsner and Octoberfest that contained Weyermann liquid malts, not sure if they are the ones you are talking about. I thought they had a bit too much "extract" character (stale?) I have not seen any Weyermann brand kits, but would love to try them.

Last time I was there, the bottle shop in Leura (on the main road on the right opposite the IGA) had a very good selection.
