Hi all,
It has obviously been way too long between brew days for me. Finally found a grain supplier after my old HBS went bust. Now, well into my brew day... I've bought Wyeast Munich Lager 2308 and Pilsen Lager 2007 yeasts. Both say ferment at 18-22C. I've always fermented at 12C for my Lagers. Anyone know if I have bought Ale yeast sold as Lager yeast? And the really silly question - what temp should I pitch and, then what temp should I ferment at? This may be here somewhere already, hoping for someone to help out with a quick reply.
Johnny.

Jump on the Wyeast website, gives you the right information for each yeast, the packaging is generic and is used for all their yeast.

What they said. You have the option of pitching at a warmer temp to get the ferment going quicker and chill to ferment. Or pitch at ferment temp. I think MHB would recommend pitching at ferment temp.

Appreciate the quick replies. Thanks so much.
Johnny.
