Hi guys,

I will be staying at Werribee (Vic) this coming Wednesday to Sunday as part of the formula SAE university race event. I was after some info on recommended places to eat and drink while there, assuming that we dont break car and spend all night fixing it that is.

follow your nose mate !!
if your up for a 25 min drive head for lygon street in carlton , williamstown is a 15 min drive away and theres some nice places for a feed/drink there , all depends on your budget as it does anywhere , ive been out of melbourne for 4+ years now , im sure there are some decent places in werribee itself for a feed too, i only lived 10 mins from werribee and i dont know that i ever went there to eat .... and in the other direction geelong is only about 1/2 hour away too and theres heaps down there ...

Hope you have a good weekend in Werribee Offline. I've only socialised in **** city once or twice so here goes. If you like Turkish try the restaurant just near the train station in Station place. Very nice Italian in Watton St. (same side as the river) Shadowfax wine tasting rooms at Werribee Mansion on K road (nice Sunday lunch) Sorry I can't recall the names of the restaurants, I haven't been there for about two years or so. Hopefully the locals who organised the trip will point you in the right direction. :D
PS. If you don't like the weather just wait half an hour. (Melbourne saying)

**** city , thats a typical wrong/eastern side of the river thing to say isnt it...
