Hi What is the ID size of tube that fits in most taps?

When I measure the tap it is 10 mm, inside diameter ...

but I only see ID11 or ID 9

So I assume is 11mm for a snug fit,

is there a 12 mm ..would that be to tight?

ID 11 / 8mm is a good size for transferring etc

Thanks

Are we talking fermenter taps?

For the 10mm id white plastic taps just chop an inch or two piece of your bottler which will fit in the tap hole.
Attach a piece of 10mm id plastic hose.

Is it 11mm ID or 10 mm ID? I can only see 11mmm ID to buy..

I am not talking about length, I mean diameter...

Thanks

Do you mean to put the hose in the tap or over the outside of the tap? Pretty sure I've got 12.7mm ID hose that I use on my FV tap; I also use it on the 1/2 inch ball valve barb on my urn on brew days as well.

I actually put the hose on the inside of the tap outlet, not outside and seems to work fine....
The standard tap I have is 10 mm inside and 14mm ie 2mm thick...

So 12.7mm would be snug fit on the outside of tap.....
thanks

cheers

PS I have stainless MJ steel fermenter, tube has to go inside tap, as shape will not be able to fit tube on outside.. cheers

Take the tap with you to Bunnings

Craftbrewer sell 3/8" ID silicone hose which is the bomb. Tight fit on fermentor taps, brewbucket barbs and even fits snug on Perlick taps for filling growlers. Low memory, inert and won't harden. Might actually be listed as 10mm ID.
