Back on topic though, should be brewing a pale ale/esb tomorrow with some wild hops I picked a couple weeks ago. Not sure of the variety but my guess from the smell is a golding of some kind.

Well kind of. Growing on a fence down by the river in the town I went to school in. Asked the property owner about them and he knew they were hops but that was it. Said he'd try killing them for years but they just keep coming back. The previous owner was a keen gardener and liked the look of the flowers.fletcher said:wild hops?
