As in for a brew control panel?... Keep an eye out on ebay - I got mine for about $20 (see link in my sig for pics). Might take longer than buying new, but the deals do come up. Maybe check in with scrap yards or put a call out to (friends with) sparky mates.
Mods, could we maybe add a sub topic in Tools of the Trade dedicated to Sanitation?

Wouldn't a pinned thread in general brewing techniques be more suitable?

You need to rethink the paradigm in which the opportunity for others to break you glasses is available. Only then will your glasses be respected.

Time heals all wounds but not a broken glass, hopefully wifey #2 will learn from #1's mistake
Gave the brewery a Tricleanium treatment, oh boy.. I thought I kept a clean rig, but now she sparkles!

I appreciate the thought but who the fck steals calcium chloride? You share house w/ junkies?
    B
    BKBrews
haha my garage got broken into and they stole boxes of my brewing equipment, including all of my salts and other bits and pieces. But yes, definitely junkies involved with that one!

Once you get past the 85 pages, hopefully you will realise that RIMS or Brau/Robo/GF is a far simpler way to go - where you're 80% likely to get it right rather than 20% likely.

The maths bit I can manage, but just not sure about the air around the grain when it sits in the hopper. I guess call it media density. Or to put another way, 1kg of grain takes up more space than a kg of sand.
I have a full keg prepped and ready to go for NYE, so there is a good chance I'll have my usual 2-3 beers and be in bed by 9.

You know when you stare at your hops plant and it stares back you've got grass hoppers..

Manual extraction and death by carnivorous plants. This is satisfying.
