Freedom Units? Do you mean Fahrenheit?
If so, I think F is a much better Scale than C, since F has a much wider numeric field compared to C, only going so far as 1/10 degree increments.
No need to use 1/10 increments in F, since there is such a large scale between 0F and 168F - that is 168 digital units without the use of tenths...
The rest of the Metric system is much better than Our stupid English - feet, inches, pounds.... UGH!
