Problem with fastway is you can't do a single order, you need to buy a 'book' of tickets suitable for the zone,

Yeah...we had that with my old employer..
Maybe we should consult the other CRABs members for interest Stu. I'd take some for the team.

Can get it up from Sydney no probs,

If we can get it to Sydney we are halfway there.

Have a play in here Stu, try the options for Door to Depot and see what you come up with, I had a play and was ~$15 but I may have the codes wrong, Shipping from 3135 Ringwood East

One would assume that this will take a Couple of months to happen yes? ??
Depends on how long we take to get to our minimum order or past it, need to confirm at what point the malting will happen in regards to out targt numbers and all sorts of other stuff.. but yeah, Id say a month is a good window.

4 sacks comes in at $140 freight to here or $60 to Sydney, which I might be able to get mate to pick up and bring back here for the cost of a couple of schooners

option B!!! Go option B!!!

Edit. The chance for a few beers with a mate is priceless. .

There is a good chance of a bulk buy to both Syd and Bris but if we could set up something to Port Mac or similar the freight would be still be around 6 or 7 per bag on a pallet. I'll check with my shipping guy today and get back to you.

Also, a couple months would be a fair estimate for timeframe.

Anyone feel free to pm me if you have any questions about any of this.

I am up for a few sacks

I remember being one of the the first to use Barret Burston malt all them years ago

So I am equally keen to try NFH malt to see how it goes.

Put me down for 4 sacks regardless of where it needs to be shipped from.

Looking forward to trying a new malt.

I will give the fellow brewers up here some of mine to try.

Be interested to also try some of NFH xtals etc in the future in some Scottish and Porters

Maybe some of those 40 odd reciepes I posted will go well with NFH malt. :chug:

.....and will talk to a local freight mob in the morning and see what they will do out of melb for a 100kg....

Will depend on where there depot is, hopefully it will be close to Yob.
