Missed out on the Premiership by one goal at Mixed Netball tonight. Just one! Shitballsfuck. PS - Say what you want about netball, but I can legally rub up against tidy birds in this sport and it's called 'playing'. Check and mate.

My cousin used to play Basketball years back, then one day was asked to help out a mixed netball team who was short one player for a game. He's hasn't played B-Ball since and still plays netball now for the same reasons you listed :P

I cop a lot of shit from my basketball mad mates, but a few of them have played here and there and love it. I've been playing for about 7 years now. It's quite enjoyable, even without the incidental contact :P

So by my calculations, FALCOR, my never ending blend keg, now has DIPA, EIPA, APA, Golden, Pale, US Wheat and Stout in it, all in differing amounts. How does it taste you ask? Confusingly delicious, surprisingly.

Limahl is still making money out of his one hit wonder.
Currently drinking the ends of two kegs blended as a black and tan.
        Me, that is, not Limahl.

I picked up 140+ kg of malt, some hops, yeast and a stirplate/flask etc. Using the stirplate as we speak prepping a starter for tomorrows brew. Woo :)

Didn't take long at all. Kegged = Vienna/Cascade SMaSH and a 4 Pines Pale Ale clone. Pitched is my Kohatu Clusterfuck (Vienna/Pils IPA grist with Cluster and Kohatu) and CCing is a DSGA dry hopped with 60gms of Amarillo.

Fuuuuuuck. Came home from a weekend away, and my CO2 bottle is empty. 2nd time it's done it now. Not sure if it's the same keg or a shitty reg. Expensive discovery though grrr

Disconnect it from the keg so it's just the cylinder, regulator, tube and disconnect/s. Turn the cylinder on then off so the line is under pressure. Wait an hour and if the pressure drops on your regulator gauge you know that there is a leak there. If it doesn't, there is a leak on your keg.

So, I got the bottle filled again today. Did what was suggested. Charged the line with 100kpa, left it for 4 hrs and it dropped to 80kpa. Left it for another 4 hrs, no drop at all. I'm thinking maybe the heat of the gas gave e a false reading since it was just filled, if that's possible at all?

Connected it all up to a keg and did the soapy water test at 300kpa charged. Didn't see any leaks at all. Confused.

It's a great feeling when you brew an AG Clone, and then you buy the actual commercial beer and you and your mates prefer the AG over the commerical!
