Test Tubes To Store Your Yeast.

Hi all,

I am putting up an EOI to see if anyone is interested in a Test Tube bulk buy; use the test tubes when splitting yeast packs or for storing your harvested and washed yeast... and whatever eles you wish to use them for.

The tubes are polycorbonite with Polypropylene screw caps and are autoclavable (so can be sanitized by boiling) and approxamatley 20ml capacity.

To buy from the company a buy of 1500 is needed so the proposal is that interested people can opt for 100 for approx $25 plus P&H, or 50 for approx $13 plus P&H. I will need to communicate with the supplier further if we have enough interested people in order to finalise details.

Thanks Barls, I will check them out also. The ones I have researched are from LabDirect. I am looking at the round bottom type as I currently have a couple of both and I find the round bottom are a little easier to clean out than the flat bottom type.

Guys I will need to be able to allocate the full 1500 before progressing further so keep the interest coming.

I've been trying to find where these 15ml aqua/green screw-cap vials came from - I think they were from barls via bulk-buy and appear to be the same as the red-cap LCA04 vials here. If they are the same, having them ship 100 direct costs about $1 more than the BB price (or $2 less for 1200 + bulk buy shipping/effort) ... lots of work for a couple of $.
