Thanks for your patience guys, we are just getting back on an even keel after a few family health issues here which have included three of us having hospital visits. I have just emailed the supplier to finalize a few finer points, after which I intend on purchasing the 1500 tubes and caps ready for dividing and posting out.

Ok, I received the final quote today including GST and freight to my place; It boils down to the following

$14.00 per 50 plus P&H
$28.00 Per 100 plus P&H

apologies for the increase as I forgot the dreaded GST and freight from the supplier.

I will check with Australia post tomorrow for postage but I guestimate the express post satchels will be under $14 for the 100 packs and under $10 for the 50 packs.

Please add confirmed to your name if you intend to keep your order, I intend on ordering the 1500 this week.

Hi all,

Good to see all those confirming.

I paid for the bulk order today, the salesperson said it would 7-10 working days for me to recive the order. Once I have recieved the order I will ask for payments and for people to pm me thier addresses.

I have got a quote from our PO, I would prefer to send by express post as they can be tracked - good value and piece of mind for an extra couple of bucks.
A three kilo satcel will cost $13.05
A 500 gram Satchel will cost $9.05

The tubes weigh approx 900 grams per 100, therefore a 50 pack will fit a 500 gram satchel and a 100 pack will need a 3kg satchel.
I am happy to squeeze 300 into a satchel if I can to cut on postage if anybody wants to share.

Bear in mind Express Post tracking is very limited compared to Express Post Platinum, Parcel Post Plus and Registered Post. Most will only be scanned when they arrive at their destination and the express post service includes no insurance if the parcel is lost (Registered includes insurance up to $100 in value).
