G'day Brewers,
You might know the Maxi-Pail/Handy-Pail type products you can buy at Bunnings/Supercheap etc
I've found they have a million and one uses around the brewery, and they are polypropylene and food grade.
Personally, I now use them for grain storage. One sack will split perfectly into two pails, and then you can stack the pails 5 high or whatever, and they're very good for weighing out grain, etc and keep the vermin away (although they're not rat proof)
BUT, they're about $14 each.
I'm fairly certain that they are actually an AYVA plastic pail with lid, and a sticker.
I've contacted People-in-Plastic, to enquire about a bulk price.

Turns out they have a special on at the moment on seconds. They're seconds because they're already embossed with something. We don't know what the something is. Its most likely just someone's brand.
Could be this one, but they are NEW and FOOD GRADE.
Anyway, each Pail with Lid will be $4.50 up to 159 pails. And delivery to Parramatta will be circa $33.
Which means, if we have an order for 50 pails, then the individual price will be about $5.15. I think this is the cheapest way to get some quantity on 20L pails.
I'll get the Pails delivered to my office in Parramatta, and you'll be able to pick them up between 10am and 8pm mon-fri, with arrangement, etc.
I'll start. I'd like 10
Will probably close the buy and order next week.
