What have people been using for a power source?

I have tried a few different things from around the house but nothing seems to fit.

Haven't tried mine yet (already wrapped up for my xmas present )
But if you head to Jaycar, you should be able to pick up a power pack there. They have universal powerpacks with adjustable voltages & plug types. (I'm pretty sure)
