Hi guys,

left wart with yeast in primary fermenter for 4-5 weeks. Is it still okay to bottle up? Is there any issue with this?

It was a fresh wort brew with white lab yeast.

Thanks guys. Always appreciate the help I get on here

Have you tasted it?

If it tastes OK then it's probably fine.

Was it temperature controlled for these 4-5 weeks or just some of them?

Is it a lager? If so and temp controlled no probs..
I left a Baltic porter in the fv for close to seven weeks once, (in a temp controlled fridge) and it was fine as well. If your sanitation is right you'll be sweet I'd say.

Cheers

Best advice. It should be ok after 4 weeks and most likely it will have helped improve the beer. But always taste it before bottling/kegging.
