My work is about to throw out a unopened stella keg that is one month past its used by date.

Few questions.

1. Is it any good ???

2. Dont have a magic box but have heaps of fittings hanging around for the keg.

3. How do i convert to my kegerator or just use the fitting out of it to hook up the keg

4. The boys will love me if i can pull this off.

wont be inside the kegerator im thinking of having a party with it on ice, and dispensing to ppl

i have no idea what type of fitting/keg a stella keg is? if you have the fittings that match the keg then all you do is hook up the gas and beer lines.

no idea idea about what u mean by magic box unless your referring to a jockey box/miracle box. if so im not sure why you'd need that. the only differance bwteen any type of keg is the fitting. thats all. and even the fifting then connects somweher on the fitting to a gas and beer line. you just sub in you gas/beer lines and your right to go.

What about the use by ??? anyone had a similar situation. Driankable ??
is stella drinkable? hmmm theres a question!!!
your mates probably wont know the differance. so long as it hasnt been sitting out in the sun getting ripe it will be fine.

If you have the fittings just plug it into your kegerator, will have to take the homebrew style fittings (quick disconnects) off and place the commercial keg fitting on the gas in and beer out hoses and bobs your uncle...not hard.

Just cool it down and drink it....
