Hi All,

Just thought I would introduce myself, my name is Chris and recently my girlfriend and I have started our first batch of Cider.
We aren't big beer drinkers but both enjoy cider so thought we would have a crack at making our own.

Look forward to talking to you all :)

Cheers,
Chris

Quite a few decent Cider threads here, many of the same principals apply so Im sure youll gather up the information,

>HERE< is a good place to start I guess :)

Hope both of you enjoy the hobby and the product you produce.

Thank you :)

Cheers Yob, I've just finished reading that thread, some very good info and inspiration in there!

I'm thinking I might grab a couple of 5ltr Demi's on my drive home to do some small batch testing.

First batch was Mangrove Jacks Apple Kit, currently in bottles.. I didn't read the instructions properly and added one of the flavor sachets before fermenting. Oops!
Might need to sweeten in the glass for this batch... see how it goes.

Cheers

I did one with just Apple juice and champagne yeast. With a bit of unformentable sugar and body (is it dme?) it would have been better but it was definitely drinkable
