My first oatmeal stout has been somewhat of a disaster at every stage - just not meant to be. Hard to believe that a total of 9.4% dark roasted malts (choc, roast barley and black malt) has given this beer SFU roast.
Return from a couple of nights away, and my nice hoppy American Amber is gone. 15L worth has seeped out through a pinprick hole in the bottom of my keg. Kegerator is a mess, and I can only assume the bulk of the beer has seeped through the floorboards as it is nowhere to be seen.
