need a sheet metal brake/benderer Central Coast NSW

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have a sheet metal benderer that i would be able to use around the central coast area.
I need to bend a 60x2mm Al check plate into a stand for my kegs in the fridge.
The table corner and brute strength method bent my ego more than the metal.

Happy to provide some refreshments for the trouble

Hey Mate, best place to contact will be a roofing supply store/manufacturer.
Unfortunately they prefer the old money as payment system

somtimes you can bend it over the edge of a work bench by clamping it along the edge and bending down the bit you want bent
if you clamp some steel over the top (non bent area) it will help "hold" the ally while you bend.

my attempt so far has been steel angle over the table edge and a couple of pieces of SHS to clamp the edge and rest down.
I have got a relatively tight angle. but cant get it anywhere near 90. apparently im not fat enough

If you don't mind it being a slightly wrinkled bend. Take a hammer to it!
