Hi,

I've got a 4L experimental batch: too small for a keg. Does anyone know if it's okay to naturally carbonate 2L of beer in one of these Keg King growlers? I have two of them, and although I would prefer not to wait out the two weeks, it'll probably be good for the beer.

They say the spring loaded lid can handle up to 40psi but I can't find mention of using them to naturally carbonate in anywhere they're advertised.

Cheers!

If they seal and can handle 40psi then no reason you can't , you will have sediment in the bottom of course but you could still do it!

Have used them this way before.. and currently am. I have 5 of these and 1 has given me trouble sealing before but it's not a constant thing so can't work out why.
They do work well for this purpose.
