Its a simple setup but I am churning some fantatstic beers!!

They sure are! And it is great to compare the way others do things - I love it.

One mor eimportand point I did not make earlier - for each brew now I am putting a max of 15L of water down the drain. Everything else is saved for the next brew and cleaning. This makes me feel better about it.

Great pics - thanks.....one question though. How come there looks like wort in your HLT? in the bottom left pic? What kind of false bottom are you using in your mashtun?

My HLT and sparge vessel are made from white buckets - they look very similar but they are different!

Love the milk crates!!
