Don't forget strapping it on the back of my scooter and riding 60kms home with it!

I'll try the power point with the fire door. I'm not going to take the power from the fire door, just put a double adaptor on there so both can get power. If someone complains I'll go the inside apartment route.

It probably won't do this but you will want to ensure you don't trip out the power circuit to the fire door. If something happens you maybe liable.

Good point, especially since I'll be wiring in my temperature controller. I'll grab a surge protector to go between the power point and the fridge.
