Hehehe, yea... only starting by 9. There'd be a fair bit going on at g&g that day, I imagine them being flat out on the day ;)
But yes, we start at 9 but should finish the grain pickup part as soon as possible, let's say everybody pls try to pickup your rain by midday.

PK... You still need my scales ?

No issue if you do... I just need to remember to put them in the car before I come over.

Duck

Pls do duck :) there are very few splits, so most likely we'll have them done and packed while you or anyone else is shopping :)

PS: what was it, 1g spec/split?! ;P

Oh no... I'm not that cheap ;)

At least 100g specialty per split.

I think in my drunken stupier on satdy I organised some one to pick mine up, n e 1 remember who it was :)

I think it was Mat H but no guarentee.

Has anyone noticed the weather report for Friday/saturday?

Storms and 20-40m of rain each day. 3 pallets inside I'd reckon.........

I can pick up your grain - will drop it off when I get back. I may be very thirsty by that stage though ;-)

If anybody has a few empty grain bags for me, I would be very grateful. If you have spares, I'll be there first thing till 10ish. I'll be the one with the Long Trail beer t-shirt and huge grin. They can also be left with PracticallyAFool (PK) if we miss one another.

Thanks in advance,

R

BTW If there is someone who cannot make it on the day, I am in Caulfield and have plenty of space to store the bags.

never been to g&g before, so should be fun :) see you guys ~9-9:30ish... I assume it will be pretty easy to find a bunch of pplz hanging out in the carpark with heaps of grains... !!

Yeah there'll be a heap of blokes out front with their sacks out, can't miss em'

Cant wait. i'm leaving friday night! should be able to make it by 9am. but will depend on traffic out of the city!

Whew! I hope it doesn't rain on sat morning. At least nothing like today.

If I remember, I'll bring some tuff garbage bags with me. Welcome to some.

Do you wear a wig or say 'lucky lucky luck luck luck luck luck' a lot or should I just give them to PF?

Well I could, or just come without any socks on because I can never find them.
Socks are like sex, lots of it about, but I never seem to get any.

Alternatively, I'll be wearing a Guiness Rugby shirt.

Should I look for a Shane McGowan impersonator, or just a man with 2 teeth?

cheers,
Kieran

My dental hygiene is impeccable.

Probably some kind of black band t-shirt, some wasps tattooed on inner left forearm. Short/shaved hair.
I'll be there at 9ish - if I don't bump into you, I'll leave the bags with practicalfool (who will probably also have my scales).

I suppose you all think I'm happy to be left holding bags :S

Empty bags mate, empty bags. You can use as many as you like when weighing out splits in case people forget.

I have 2 or 3 empty grain bags I can offer to those splitting ... I should be there around 9.30am.

I've met PracticalFool in person.

He's not actually rotated 270 from horizontal in real life, either.

Edit: Fixed it for you, Manticle :p

I met him once. ANHC club night.

Yes he was (rotated 90 degrees from vertical that is which I think is what you meant).

Wha!?!? I'm sure I have some angles that can be looked at but not quite convinced I can rotated.

btw, the SUN just made an appearance outside :D

getting close now, leaving soon.

PF I'm bringing a couple of me and mayor of mildura's swap beers for you as a thanks!

look forward to the day should be fun! except for the expected rain! lol

Cheers

ur welcome AF :)

btw, called them to sheck on the weather arrangements... They will think of something to protect the grain if it rains, maybe put it closer to the building to get it out of the showers. Maybe put cardboard over it to keep it dry. In any case, please come prepared and early if possible.

GL, 2 me n u all :)

PK

Thanks for organising, PK. Good to meet you today.

Same, cheers for the effort to those who put in the yards. Nice to meet a few of you, even though I don't know exactly who most of you actaully were. At least it stayed dry for us too
