Its on again. Bulk buy prices as per the attached pdf file. View attachment AHB_malt_quote_2008_08_15.pdf
I have taken it upon myself too organise this time, give other guys a break and the old "somebody has to do it".
The grains are being supplied by Grain and Grape and p/up will be from their premises,, at this stage Saturday the 13th of September. Grain and Grape will also be hosting an A/G brewing demostration the same day, incl tastings from a previous brew day
The guidelines I would like to lay are no different from previous organised bulk buys.
Grab a number and outline what you would like i.e
1/ Haysie 1x M/O 1X Vienna etc etc
2/ John 1x etc etc
No splits, by all means organise half bags etc between ourselves, but somebody has to order a FULL bag.
CUT OFF DATE FOR ORDERS WILL BE SEPT 3rd, I will then send too John @ G&G our list, he can then respond what is not available and or an alternative.
I will then ask for monies to be deposited to my account so I can place an order for p/up the 13th.
The bulk buy can only proceed if we buy bulk , bulk being 40 bags (mixed) per pellet. Our first goal is 40 bags and then multiples of 40 thereafter. G&G have indicated they are willing to p/up some slack on a pallet i.e US 30 G&G 10.
Anyhow we will see re the interest what numbers we get, IF we have to cut bags LAST IN, FIRST OUT.
CUTOFF SEPT 3RD
P/UP SEPT 13TH
Thanks Everybody!!

footnote, I would like to make it clear the change re grain retailer from previous bulks has absolutely nothing to do with "price wars", "orginisation of previous bulks", Chris Taylor and Kleiny did a great job, "supplier" or "supplied goods".
It was simply an approach from me to John at Grain and Grape too see if he was interested in getting involved. They run a good business, the guys are a wealth of knowledge in their field and I do lean towards supporting "The Local". Simple stuff, enough said.
