Mash tun - Techni ice drink dispenser

Gday all! Just wondering if any one has used one of these as a mashtun? I bought one recently and thought it may work? Just curious if it would take 70c water ok or not.

I had one and sold it, but a stack of other brewers still use them. Hold temp really well and no issues with 70 degree water in them.

I think the drink dispenser is different construction to their regular eskies. but as a drink dispenser it must be food grade to a certain point?

they don't look like they have the same inside 'plastic' as the eskies. I've got a 40L esky (PITA as an esky as a longneck is 10mm too long! but it may become a mash tun. I like the whitish/blueish interior.. looks proper food grade)

Yer they are food grade beer god! Thanks for the reply so soon guys! Now just gotta work out how to plumb the thing with a stainless mash dome! oh the fun is just starting!
