Hi
I bought 100 swing top bottles off gumtree on the weekend, mainly Grolsch.
Some are 12 years old.
How often should I change the seals and what type should I get (silicone or rubber)?
Thanks

I've had my swing tops for about 6 years and most of the seals are still going strong.

I've only changed the seals when I can't be confident I can clean them, or if they are starting to perish.

Either silicone or rubber will be fine. It's probably more a case of what you can find as to what is better.

I prefer rubber , they don't last as long as the silicon , but seal better

I replaced a few of mine with silicon ones, which you can find at places like country brewer
