Hi im looking at trying to clone a macs blonde
As anyone done a blonde recipe with adding of orange and coriander with Success
If so how much of each did you use and when did you add it to the boil?
Thanks Daza ....and my batch size is 19ltr

Have a look here
A post of mine about half way down mentions the coriander and orange peel and gives another couple of links.

My 2c worth:

I zest about 30 oranges for 600 litres, so one per 20l should work. Good luck finding a curacao in Australia. Sevilles are most close but the cheapo Cali navels from Woolies are very aromatic and I use those. I like to toast them gently in a fan oven as they take on a great candy flavour.

Dried, ground corriander is extremely variable and you really need to open the packet and smell it before use. If that's not the aroma you want in your beer, go find another brand or batch date. Buy everything you can and use the best smelling one. About 10g per 20l.

Add both late in the boil.

White Labs 400.

Randall, do you toast the oranges before zesting, or do you just toast the zest afterwards ?

that's why it's best to grind the seeds yourself just before the addition.
