Ok, first up, I have never done this, just seen it mentioned on another forum.
I take no responsibility for your cold burns, blowing up your CO2 cylinder etc. Go and read safety directions on handling dry ice, not breathing vapours, how much CO2 your tank can hold
Basically, get some dry ice, smash it up into bits, put it in your CO2 tank, refit regulator, let the CO2 melt, then use it.
At a guess, if you have a 2.5kg tank, you should put a maximum 2.5kg dry ice in the tank.
