See you do have a few Braumeister users here, as a fellow user I'd like to sign up. I live deep in the forests a two hour drive north of Stockholm, Sweden. I have been brewing on a Braumeister 20 liter for two years with a lot of different styles. For the moment I am brewing a Wee Heavy, aiming at an OG around 1100 using double mashing.

Cheers,
Joakim

Translated it, in Swedish it is ”Tallens väg 2”. Here are mostly pine and fir, but also quite a lot of birch. Birch is the preferred fire wood around here. From my house I can see three oak trees of different ages as well, not so good as fire wood, too dense.

I thought after my initial post you could have been living in a silver birch forest.

Picture from the house, birch, pine and fir.
