See you do have a few Braumeister users here, as a fellow user I'd like to sign up. I live deep in the forests a two hour drive north of Stockholm, Sweden. I have been brewing on a Braumeister 20 liter for two years with a lot of different styles. For the moment I am brewing a Wee Heavy, aiming at an OG around 1100 using double mashing.

    Cheers,
    Joakim

Greetings Joakim, being deep in the forest would you also be making any spruce beer?

No I haven’t, but what a great idea! My postal address is Pine Road 2, so I simply must brew some spruce beer

Did you translate that address or is that how you say it? I thought after my initial post you could have been living in a silver birch forest.

Translated it, in Swedish it is ”Tallens väg 2”. Here are mostly pine and fir, but also quite a lot of birch. Birch is the preferred fire wood around here. From my house I can see three oak trees of different ages as well, not so good as fire wood, too dense.
